Swindon Lions joined other Lions colleagues to help at the Bob Cook Games. The games are held in Swindon for disabled people from across Wales and South West England.
The Christmas season has started! We were outside Waitrose at the weekend. Thank you to everyone who made a donation. The club has agreed that all the money raised by our Santa collections will be donated to the Brighter Futures Special Care Baby Unit Incubator appeal.
Our French guests really enjoyed the opportunity to see the fabulous gardens and the newly opened Temperate House. There was also the pigeon who seemed to like it in the cab of the “Train”
Some members and families from our “twin” Club in Les Andelys in Normandy arrive to stay in Swindon for a few days. Whilst here they will stay with Swindon Lions Club Members.
On Monday we were able to make a donation to that excellent local charity “Dressability” Never hear of it? Look it up!
