£1,000 Swindon Food Collective donation

Swindon Lions Club has continued to meet, by means of virtual meetings, during lockdown and thereafter while we are unable to have our normal club meetings. The club has continued to receive request for assistance from various Swindon based organisations and individuals. In June the club made a £1,000 donation to Swindon Food Collective.

Swindon Lions Support Prospect Hospice

Bob Cook Games 2019

Swindon Lions joined other Lions colleagues to help at the Bob Cook Games.  The games are held in Swindon for disabled people from across Wales and South West England.

A great day out at Kew gardens

Our French guests really enjoyed the opportunity to see the fabulous gardens and the newly opened Temperate House. There was also the pigeon who seemed to like it in the cab of the “Train”  

Guests from Normandy

Some members and families from our “twin” Club in Les Andelys in Normandy arrive to stay in Swindon for a few days. Whilst here they will stay with Swindon Lions Club Members.            


On Monday we were able to make a donation to that excellent local charity “Dressability” Never hear of it? Look it up! A really great organisation help to adapt clothes for children and adults with disabilities.
