On Thursday 8 October Swindon Lions marked World Sight Day when Lions Paul and Alan took boxes of used spectacles to Chichester. Swindon Lions club collects used spectacles at various locations in Swindon and Lions Paul and Alan boxed them up. Chichester Lions and other volunteers then process these using their considerable experience to select spectacles that are suitable for recycling. They are then sent to Medico France in Le Havre.
